Rumour has it that Apple will give QuickTime PRO away for free when the next version of Mac OS comes out. That would be nice. For $50 QuickTime PRO gives you powerful audio & video conversion and compression features as well simple editing. It’s handy for trimming the start and end of a sermon or compressing the mp3 for fast web downloads.

    For sure. I use it all the time. QuickTime is probably the most useful tool I have for doing video/sound stuff in church.

    In traditional Apple style there’s no formal date set, but the word is by the middle of ‘09, with some sites suggesting a Q1 release.
