iWork ‘09

I just installed iWork ‘09. Overall, I’m not sure that there’s enough in it to justify the $120, but one thing I noticed that I’m really glad about is that Apple seems to have fixed a nasty formatting bug that made Pages useless for working with unicode Hebrew. So now theology students can use Pages to write their Old Testament essays … I’ll post a tutorial sometime for college students on how to setting up your mac to seamlessly switch between English, Greek and Hebrew.

I take it all back! Pages is still useless for Hebrew unicode. Inserting even a single Hebrew character can deform an otherwise fine page of text in all kinds of strange ways. Lodging an apple bug report now.
